In May this shrub blooms with a profusion of large satin white flowers. The leaves of this plant are a dark greenish gold and velvet-like similar to other viburnum. Another attraction of the 'Shasta' Viburnum is the lower horizontal growth habit that creates a tiered affect, which when the shrub blooms creates and amazing cascade of thick white blooms.
