CERCIS canadensis 'Appalachian Red' 15G

  A stunning form of our native Eastern Redbud, Cercis canadensis 'Appalachian Red' bears clusters of near-red buds that open a brilliant, fuchsia pink and clothe the bare branches in spring. Heart-shaped leaves soon follow, maturing to blue green in summer and turning yellow in fall. An easy-care addition to the landscape, and lovely underplanted with spring-flowering bulbs such as Muscari and Hyacinths. Grow in fertile, moist but well-drained soil in full sun or dappled shade.

CERCIS canadensis 'Flame' 15G

Foliage is shades of green, red, and yellow.  

Use as a small, understory tree. Offers abundant small pea-like pink flowers in the early spring followed by heart-shaped foliage. Likes sun to part shade and is tolerant of average, well-drained soils. Will not tolerate wet soils.  Hardy in zones 5 - 9

CERCIS canadensis 'Forest Pansy' 15G

'Forest Pansy' redbud is a purple-leafed, small, understory tree. Offers abundant small pea-like lavender-pink flowers in the early spring, followed by attractive purple-hued, heart-shaped foliage.   Redbuds offer four seasons of change so use them in multiples in front yard foundation plantings for an eye catching display. Their small stature makes them a comfortable fit in both small urban gardens or large estates. Hardy in zones 5 - 9

CERCIS canadensis 'Merlot' 15G

Perfect for smaller landscapes, this phenomenal hybrid has lustrous, dark purple leaves. Foliage is similar to Forest Pansy, but with Texas Redbud in its genes, 'Merlot' offers excellent drought tolerance and thicker, glossier leaves that stand up to summer heat. Tight, dense, semi-upright habit. Bright lavender-pink flowers in spring.

A wonderful landscape specimen valued for its profusion of vibrant, petite, purple-red flowers that cloak the bare branches to bridge the gap between winter and spring! Lustrous heart-shaped foliage emerges with a soft pink tinge as the flowers fade then matures to a rich green. May develop as a multi-trunk tree.

Ruby Falls is a glorious weeping variety and a sight in early spring! Lavender-pink blossoms cover the weeping branches and is a delight in any landscape. Maroon red leaves change to burgundy before maturing to green /yellow in late summer.

CERCIS canadensis ' Rising Sun' 15G

 This Redbud welcomes the arrival of spring with masses of pea-like rosy-pink flowers that cover the stems before the foliage emerges.  The spring show continues when glowing shades of apricot-colored foliage begins to emerge and slowly changes to yellow and chartreuse green.  Fall color is various shades of yellow.  Grows 8-12 feet in height and 8 feet wide.  Prefers full to partial sun.
